From Hill Country Cedar to South Texas Mesquite. We turn overgrown ranch land into buildable, usable acreage. C2 Land Services brings the heavy iron and 13+ years of experience to reclaim your property efficiently.
In Texas, land gets overgrown fast. Between the invasive Ashe Juniper (Cedar) choking out your hardwoods and the aggressive Mesquite taking over your pastures, usable land can turn into a thicket in just a few seasons. At C2 Land Services, we provide comprehensive land clearing and forestry mulching for projects ranging from single residential lots to 1,000+ acre ranch developments.
Many landowners in New Braunfels and across the state struggle with clearing land themselves. Chainsaws and standard tractors aren't enough for the density of Texas timber. We bring the heavy iron—high-flow skid steers and excavators with forestry heads—to handle the job safely. Whether you are prepping for a new custom home, clearing a fence line, or restoring hundreds of acres of pasture, we get it done on schedule and on budget.

Not all clearing is created equal. The "old way" was to bulldoze everything into a massive burn pile, leaving bare dirt exposed to the Texas heat and rain. While we have the capability for full removal, we often recommend Forestry Mulching. This process grinds trees and brush right where they stand, turning them into a nutrient-rich layer of mulch.
Why does this matter in the Hill Country? Because of our thin topsoil and limestone base. When you bulldoze, you often scrape away the little fertile soil you have, leading to immediate erosion. Mulching leaves the root structure intact to hold the ground together while returning nutrients to the soil. It’s faster, requires no burning permits, and leaves a park-like finish immediately.
Forestry Mulching: Grinding Cedar and Mesquite into beneficial mulch (no haul-off needed).
Large Acreage Clearing: Scalable solutions for ranches, commercial developments, and subdivisions.
Right-of-Way (ROW) Clearing: Cutting precise lanes for utility lines, pipelines, and access roads.
Stump Grinding: Removing stumps below grade so you can mow or build over the area.
Site Prep: Full lot clearing and grubbing for new home foundations or commercial pads.
We scale our fleet to match your project size. Whether you have a single acre in New Braunfels or a 2,000-acre ranch in West Texas, we have the logistics to handle it
Anyone can rent a machine and flatten a forest. We pride ourselves on Selective Clearing. We understand the value of a mature Live Oak or Pecan tree. We work with you to identify the "keeper trees" and carefully clear the scrub brush (Cedar/Mesquite) around them without damaging their bark or root systems.
We also understand Texas terrain. From the steep, rocky slopes of the Hill Country to the dense brush of South Texas, we have the experience to operate efficiently without tearing up your land. When we leave, your property isn’t just clear; it’s ready for the next phase of your project.
Not every clearing job is a flat pasture. Much of the land in Comal County and beyond is defined by rocky ledges, steep draws, and dense undergrowth. At C2 Land Services, we operate a fleet of tracked machinery designed for stability on uneven ground.
We utilize high-flow skid steers for speed in open areas and excavators with mulching heads for the hard-to-reach slopes. This versatility allows us to clear fence lines along steep creek banks or open up views on a ridge without compromising safety. We don't just clear the easy spots; we clear the property lines where they actually sit.
Fence Line Preparation: Clearing a corridor through heavy timber so you can install high-fence or standard fencing without fighting the brush.
Hunting Lane Creation: Cutting precise shooting lanes and food plot areas to improve visibility for deer season.
Cedar Removal: Selectively removing water-hogging Cedar trees to allow native grasses and water tables to recover.
Fire Break Construction: Creating defensible space around your home or barn to slow down wildfires and protect your structures.
We don't give "guesstimates" over the phone; we walk the land with you (or review satellite data for large remote projects). Contact C2 Land Services today for a professional assessment. We’ll examine the slope, rock, and timber density to give you a transparent, firm price.
We build projects to last. From the initial clear to the final grade, we treat your property with respect. Our goal isn't just to finish the job, but to earn your recommendation for years to come.
